Sacred and Environmental Materiality in the Coptic Diaspora

In this ethnography, I explore with my interlocutors how the material culture (both sacred and environmental) and ecological world in the West shape Copts’ beliefs and values in the diaspora. Reciprocally, I am also interested in how Copts’ beliefs and values shape their understanding and articulations of the material culture and ecological world.
